Information About Legal Advice Fees
We are committed to ensuring that our charges are always transparent and that our clients are kept up to date with a cost estimate for the work that is required. We will not incur disbursements or costs that you do not know about in advance. If you reside in Hove, Brighton, Sussex or Surrey, get in touch with us for legal advice.
We offer the following fixed fees:
- Change of Name Deed: £200 plus VAT
- Petitioner Divorce: £750 plus VAT, plus applicable court fee
- Respondent Divorce: £350 plus VAT
Other types of cases may be eligible for fixed fees, but this will be assessed on a case to case basis at our initial appointment.
In circumstances where you may receive a financial settlement at the conclusion of your case, you may be eligible for a litigation loan. Our firm accepts Novitas loan funding in appropriate circumstances.
Legal aid funding is only available for family matters in very specific circumstances. You can assess your eligibility by going to: www.gov.uk/check-legal-aid

- £550 for issuing a divorce petition
- £50 for submitting a consent order
- £255 to make an application for financial proceedings
- £215 for a child arrangements application.
